SAINTS PETER AND PAUL CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Our students receive an education in the Catholic faith. Through daily religious instruction, our students learn their faith, and through daily prayer and practice, they acquire a profound ability to put their faith into practice. Sts. Peter and Paul is a place where the mind and the spirit intersect, and where every second in the classroom is both a lesson in a "subject" as well as a lesson in living a true, Catholic life of faith. This is best exemplified through school service projects.
Each class sponsors one of several major service projects spread across the school year. The entire school is encouraged to participate. The eighth grade religion class explores the corporal works of mercy. During their studies, these students learn about particular community needs, then create projects to meet those needs. This program is meant to inspire students to live the Gospel message on a daily basis. Students who regularly participate in service activities develop the habit and desire to serve others, and will hopefully discover a further desire to live the Gospel message even when no one is present to direct them.
Philosophy
At Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School, we believe that each student is entitled to a quality education which provides the opportunity for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical development.
This commitment promotes a love of God and others and fosters a life-long challenge to live the Gospel message through prayer, learning, leadership and service.
